5. Final Submission & Review
Submit your completed application to JPSL's Risk and Compliance team and understand how to respond to observations.
Estimated time: 2 minutes to submit; 24–48 business hours for JPSL review
This stage formally submits your application to JPSL's Risk, Compliance, and Underwriting teams for review. Before you can submit, all sections of Stage 4 must be fully complete.
Step 5.1 — Confirm All Sections Are Complete
All four tabs must show a green "Complete" badge:
If any tab still shows "Incomplete" or an amber status, navigate to that section and address the outstanding item before returning here.
Step 5.2 — Read and Accept the Legal Declaration
At the bottom of your Application Status Dashboard, you will find a Declaration and Undertaking statement.
- Read the statement carefully. This is a legally binding acknowledgment.
- Tick the checkbox to declare that all information, metrics, and documents provided are true, correct, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
- By ticking, you also accept JPSL's terms of use.
⚠️ Legally Binding Undertaking This declaration constitutes a legal undertaking. Submitting knowingly false or misleading information is a violation of JPSL's Merchant Agreement and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
Step 5.3 — Submit the Application
- Click Submit Application. The button is only enabled once all four sections show "Complete" and the declaration checkbox is ticked.
- The system runs a final validation pass.
- On success, your status changes from "Action Required" to "Under Review".
💡 Submit Application Button Is Disabled? The most common causes are: at least one section not showing "Complete", or the Declaration checkbox not being ticked. Double-check both before contacting support.
Step 5.4 — Monitor the Activity Log
While your application is under review (standard SLA: 24–48 business hours), the Activity Log tab is your real-time window into the process.
The JPSL review team conducts:
- Document forensics — verifying authenticity and legibility of uploaded files
- AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks — screening against regulatory databases
- Website policy review — visiting your URL to confirm required pages are present
- Business metrics validation — cross-checking turnover and transaction estimates
The Resubmission Loop
If the review team identifies a discrepancy or needs more information, they post a specific, actionable observation in the Activity Log. Your status temporarily reverts to "Action Required".
Here is what happens and what you must do:
- You receive an email notification when an observation is posted.
- Log in and read the Activity Log — the observation describes exactly what needs to be corrected (e.g., "GST certificate is blurry — re-upload a clearer version", or "website is missing a Refund Policy page").
- Make the requested change — re-upload the document in the Document Repository, or correct the field in the relevant section.
- Click Resubmit — this is mandatory. Simply making changes without clicking Resubmit does not notify the review team that you have responded.
⚠️ Always Click Resubmit After Responding If you make corrections but do not click Resubmit, your application stays in "Action Required" and the JPSL team will not be aware that you have responded. The resubmission loop can repeat until all observations are resolved.
What Happens Next
Once the JPSL team is satisfied, your application moves to Stage 6: Agreement & Aadhaar E-Sign.
You will receive an email notification when the agreement is ready for review.
