4c. Document Repository

Verify that all mandatory documents are uploaded and use this section to submit any additional documents requested by JPSL.

Part of: Stage 4 — Application Details
Other sections: Adding Signatories · Infosec Questionnaire

The Document Repository is your central compliance file manager. It shows every document required for your entity type and the current upload status of each. It also serves as the channel through which you supply any additional documents requested by JPSL during review.

Step 4c.1 — Verify Mandatory Document Status

  1. Navigate to the Document Repository tab.
  2. Review the list of required documents generated for your entity type.
  3. Check the status of each entry:
StatusMeaningAction
Uploaded / ReceivedDocument is present and acceptedNo action needed
Pending / MissingDocument has not been uploadedUpload immediately
RejectedDocument was uploaded but rejected (e.g., blurry, wrong document)Re-upload a corrected version

Step 4c.2 — Upload Missing Documents

If any document shows Pending or Missing status:

  1. Click the upload button next to that document entry.
  2. Select your file (PDF, JPEG, or PNG, under 5 MB).
  3. Wait for the status to update to Uploaded / Received.

Refer to the Document Checklist to confirm exactly which documents are required for your entity type.

Step 4c.3 — Upload Additional Documents (If Applicable)

Some businesses require documents beyond the standard checklist — for example:

  • FSSAI licence (for food businesses)
  • Gaming / online gaming licence
  • Pharmacy / drug licence
  • NBFC registration certificate (for financial services)
  • Import/export licence

If your business falls into a regulated category, upload these documents proactively using the "Upload Additional Documents" button — even if not explicitly listed in your mandatory checklist. This prevents a hold during underwriting review.

💡 Tip If JPSL's review team requests a specific additional document after you submit in Stage 5, you will return to this section to upload it. The Activity Log will specify exactly what is needed. See Stage 5 for details on the resubmission loop.

Step 4c.4 — Confirm the "Complete" Badge

The Document Repository tab shows the green "Complete" badge only when all mandatory documents for your entity type show "Uploaded / Received" status.

Uploading extra documents does not affect this badge — only the mandatory list matters for the completion trigger.

What Happens Next

Once the Document Repository tab shows "Complete", confirm that:

Once all three tabs are complete, proceed to Stage 5: Final Submission & Review.
