Status meanings and help
What the statuses mean
| You see | It means | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Not started | Nothing done yet | Open it and begin. |
| In progress | You have started but not finished | Finish the tasks. |
| Submitted for review | Our team is checking it | Nothing. Keep working on other steps. |
| Action required | Something new needs doing, for example after you added an owner | Open the step, finish the new tasks, Resubmit for review. |
| Approved | Checked and accepted | Nothing. |
| Under review (whole application) | Everything is with our team | Wait for approval. |
| Waiting for approvals (Sign the agreement) | Other steps are not approved yet | Wait. It opens by itself. |
If something is stuck
| Problem | Try this |
|---|---|
| Save is greyed out | A required field, answer or upload is missing. Check every question. Look for a reason box or an upload that appeared after an answer. |
| PAN or GST not found | Check the number letter by letter. Use Update PAN if needed. |
| CIN or LLPIN could not be verified | Check the number and try again. A CIN has 21 characters. An LLPIN looks like AAA-1112. Make sure the consent box is ticked. |
| Shares must add up to 100% | Add the missing shareholders. The progress bar shows how much is left. |
| A step you finished is open again | You added owners later. Mark the new tasks complete and resubmit. |
| An owner or signatory cannot see the application | They must sign in with the exact email you entered when sending links. |
| Sign the agreement says waiting | Our team has not approved every step yet. You will be told when it opens. |
